Buchanan's service desk has held HDI certification since 2014 and has been awarded the HDI Team Certified Pinnacle of Excellence every year since 2017. The Pinnacle award is granted only to organizations where 100% of support staff are HDI certified: frontline analysts, managers and directors alike.

SOC 2 Type 2

Buchanan maintains a SOC 2 Type 2 audit of its Managed Services system, covering all five trust services criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. The audit is performed by an independent CPA firm against controls observed in operation over a defined period, not at a single point in time.

NIST Cybersecurity Framework

Buchanan has aligned its security program to the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework since January 2018, following its guidance to identify, protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats.

Our controls map to a framework your own risk team most likely already uses, which shortens the security questionnaire stage of a vendor review.

GDPR Compliance

Buchanan has met the EU General Data Protection Regulation requirements for data processors since May 2018.
